1990、93、99年获中国药科大学药剂专业学士、硕士和博士学位。
1993-6年,中国药科大学药剂教研室任教;
1999-2001年,北京大学药学院从事博士后研究工作;
2001年-至今,北京大学药学院药剂学系任教,教授、博士生导师。
期间于2004年至2005在瑞典斯德哥尔摩大学、2006年4月在日本九州大学进行访问研究。
主讲药剂学及高等药剂学等本科及研究生课程。《中国药学》英文版编委。
参加NSF重大、重点及973等科研项目,主持NSF面上项目、863、重大新药创制等科研项目。2003、2008、2015年获北京大学医学部优秀教师奖;获96年度获国家医药管理局科技进步三等奖(第2完成人)、2003年度教育部提名科技进步二等奖(第2完成人)、2008中国药学会科学技术一等奖1项(第2完成人)、2009年度教育部自然科学一等奖(第4完成人)等奖项。
发表论文五十余篇,参编教材五部。授权专利4项。开展多项药物新制剂及新剂型研究。
