1987年毕业于北京医科大学药学院后留校任教;1997年于日本星药科大学获药学博士学位,导师为永井恒司教授。现任北京大学药学院教授、博士生导师,中国药学会药剂专委会委员,北京药学会药剂专委会副主委,药物技术创新服务专委会副主委等。担任国家重点新产品计划,国家外国专家管理局千人计划、高端人才计划,国家自然科学基金,博士后科学基金,北京市中小企业创新基金等评审专家。

主持的基金项目包括教育部留学回国人员启动基金,国家自然科学基金,国家高技术研究发展计划(863计划),北京市自然科学基金,教育部博士点基金等,是北京大学创新药物大平台,新制剂与新释药系统技术平台,国家重点基础研究发展计划(973计划)的骨干成员

获得的主要奖励包括Nagai Foundation;北京市科技进步奖(2001年);教育部科技进步奖(1995年,2000年,2003年,2009年,2012年);中国中西医结合学会科学技术奖(2007年);中国药学会优秀论文二等奖(1999年);中国药剂学会优秀论文一等奖(2002年);药学学报优秀论文奖(2008年);第四届北医大国际交流论文三等奖(1998年);北京大学医学部教学优秀奖,SCI论文引用奖,发明专利奖等等。获北京大学优秀共产党员(2010年,2014年),药学院优秀共产党员(2009年)及第五届女教工之星等称号。

在国内外发表论文100余篇,教材与专著19部,获发明专利4项。指导多名学生获得国家奖学金、北京大学优秀博士论文等,培养博士和硕士学生50多人。教学课程包括本科生《药剂学》、《生物药剂学与药物动力学》以及研究生《药物递送系统》、《分子药剂学》等。
